Good morning Ladies! I set up this blog for us to do our book club communication since we can't actually meet. First I'm looking to see if you have any ideas on a schedule for discussions. I had two different ideas. We could do one or the other or both or something else.
I thought we could do a post after completing a set number of chapters, like maybe 5, and discuss our thoughts on the events in those chapters. I also thought that maybe we could do a rotating post assignment. Such as, I post one week, then Jackie posts the next week, then Deana posts the next week. We could then do a post about any topic having to do with the book and then we could comment on each other's posts. Let me know what you guys think.
We all agreed to start with Twilight by Stephanie Meyer. After we finish that we could take suggestions for the next book or we could always stay with the Twilight series and finish it.

I like the 'read five chapters' idea. I'm a very forgetful person, and I'm not sure that I could keep up without being held responsible... It sounds like the best bet to me.
I need to check the library to get a copy of the book too. That's my hold-up on starting. I'll let you know when I have a copy in hand.
That's fine with me, too. I need to get to the library tonight and get said publication, as well.
So we're decided. When each of us completes five chapters, we will post about any topic that interests us. The sight is set up to notify each of us when we post or comment by email. I began the book last week but haven't been putting that much time into it. I shouldn't be too far ahead and I get distracted easily. I'm thinking that I won't be reading that much in the next few weeks while Charlie will be home. Okay Ladies, talk to you soon.
I'm on the holding list at the library. The librarian assured me Twilight would be here within a week or so... here's for hoping.
